SmartSolar Charge Regulator MPPTSolar charge controller for 12V and 24V batteries   Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Especially in overcast conditions when light intensity is constantly changing, an ultra-fast MPPT controller improves energy output by up to 30% in comparison to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers. Load output Battery overcharging can be prevented by connecting all loads to the load output. The load output disconnects the loads when the battery has been discharged to a preset voltage value. Alternatively, an intelligent battery management algorithm can be selected: see BatteryLife. The load output is short-circuit proof. Battery Life: intelligent battery management If the solar charge controller is not able to charge the battery to its full capacity within one day, the battery status will constantly alternate between "partially charged" and "end of discharge". This mode of operation (no regular full charge) will damage a lead-acid battery within a few weeks or months. The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the state of charge of the battery and if necessary, day by day, it raises the threshold for disconnecting the load (i.e., the load is disconnected earlier) until the energy gained is sufficient to charge the battery to near 100%. Start interruption The models with addition (1+Si) have a second current-limited output which is always powered as long as 180 - 265 V AC is available as an input. This output can be used, for instance, to prevent a vehicle from being started before the battery charger has been disconnected (start interrupt function). Highest charging efficiency ever! A new industry standard is set: with an efficiency of 92% or even higher, these chargers waste three to four times less heat. Also, after the battery is fully charged, the power consumption drops to less than one watt, which is about five to ten times better than the industry standard.

MultiPlusInverter / Charger   Multifunctional use The MultiPlus Compact 12/2000/80-30 is a high performance pure sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger utilizing adaptive charging technology, and a high speed AC transfer switch in a single compact package. Models are available for the range of 800 VA to 5000 VA per module. Unique PowerAssist function The MultiPlus prevents overloading of a limited AC source. First, it automatically reduces battery charging to protect against overload. Next, it boosts the output of a generator or shore power supply with energy from the battery. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) function. In the event of a mains fault or an interruption to the shore power or on-board generator, the multi's inverter is automatically switched on and takes over the supply to the connected loads. MultiPlusInverter / Charger Proven reliability The complete bridging additionally with a ring transformer topology has proven itself for years. The inverter is short-circuit proof and protected against overheating (whether caused by overload or ambient temperature). PowerControl work with limited generator power, limited shore or mains power The Multi Control remote control panel can be used to set the maximum shore or generator current to be drawn. The MultiPlus then takes into account other connected AC consumers and uses only the current that is "left over" for charging. This prevents the generator or shore power connection from being overloaded. PowerAssist "power boost" of generators and shore power support (800VA/1200VA/1600VA only) Load peaks often only occur for a limited period of time. In such a case, the MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore power or generator power is immediately compensated by energy from the battery. If the load is reduced, i.e. if consumers are switched off, the energy that is then sufficiently available again can be used to charge the batteries. High switch-on power This is required for switching on loads with high inrush currents such as voltage converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools. Search mode When the search mode is set to 'on', the power consumption of the inverter is reduced by approximately 70% during no-load operation. In this mode, when operating in inverter mode, the Multi will turn off at zero load or when only a light load is present and turn back on for a short period every two seconds. If the output current exceeds a set limit, the inverter resumes operation. If this is not the case, the inverter switches off again. Programmable relay In the default setting, the multifunction relay acts as an alarm relay, i.e. it switches off the device in the event of faults (device becomes too hot, ripple voltage at the input too high, battery voltage too low).
