In this mode, when operating in inverter mode, the multi will turn off at zero load or when only a light load is present and turn back on for a short period every two seconds. If the output current exceeds a set limit, the inverter resumes operation. If this is not the case, the inverter switches off again. Programmable relay In the default setting, the multifunction relay acts as an alarm relay, i.e. it switches off the device in the event of faults (device becomes too hot, ripple voltage at the input too high, battery voltage too low).

By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) modules, MPPT technology ensures that all available energy is actually being drawn from the modules and stored. The benefit of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing. The Battery Life algorithm monitors the battery's state of charge and, if necessary, raises the load disconnect threshold day by day (i.e., disconnects the load earlier) until the energy gained is sufficient to charge the battery to near 100%. From this point on, the threshold for disconnecting the load is modulated so that charging to nearly 100% is achieved about once a week.
