Versatile use

The MultiPlus is a powerful pure sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger utilizing adaptive charging technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact package. Models are available for the range of 800 VA to 5000 VA per module.

Unique PowerAssist function

The MultiPlus prevents overloading of a limited AC source. First, it automatically reduces battery charging to protect against overload. Next, it boosts the output of a generator or shore power supply with energy from the battery.

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) function.

In the event of a mains fault or an interruption to the shore power or on-board generator, the multi's inverter is automatically switched on and takes over the supply to the connected loads. The switchover occurs so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic equipment is guaranteed.

Virtually unlimited power through parallel connection

Up to six Multis can be connected in parallel for high power requirements. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible. Please refer to our data sheets to find out which models are suitable for parallel, three-phase and split-phase operation.

Proven reliability The complete bridging additionally with a ring transformer topology has proven itself for years. The inverter is short-circuit proof and protected against overheating (whether caused by overload or ambient temperature). PowerControl work with limited generator power, limited shore or mains power The Multi Control remote control panel can be used to set the maximum shore or generator current to be drawn. The MultiPlus then takes into account other connected AC consumers and uses only the current that is "left over" for charging. This prevents the generator or shore power connection from being overloaded. PowerAssist "power boost" of generators and shore power support (800VA/1200VA/1600VA only) Load peaks often only occur for a limited period of time. In such a case, the MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore power or generator power is immediately compensated by energy from the battery. If the load is reduced, i.e. if consumers are switched off, the energy that is then sufficiently available again can be used to charge the batteries. High switch-on power This is required for switching on loads with high inrush currents such as voltage converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools. Search mode When the search mode is set to 'on', the power consumption of the inverter is reduced by approximately 70% during no-load operation. In this mode, when operating in inverter mode, the multi will turn off at zero load or when only a light load is present and turn back on for a short period every two seconds. If the output current exceeds a set limit, the inverter resumes operation. If this is not the case, the inverter switches off again. Programmable relay In the default setting, the multifunction relay acts as an alarm relay, i.e. it switches off the device in the event of faults (device becomes too hot, ripple voltage at the input too high, battery voltage too low).
