Victron System Monitoring Color Control GX The Venus GX provides intuitive operation and monitoring of all Victron power systems. VRM Online Portal Apart from monitoring and operating devices on-site directly on the CCGX, the readings are also forwarded to our free website for remote monitoring: the VRM Online Portal. To get a first impression, try the demo version at https://vrm.victronenergy.com. Remote Console on the VRM The CCGX can be monitored, controlled and configured remotely via the Internet. It's like standing right in front of the device. It can also be operated completely remotely. The same functionality is also available on the local network, the Remote Console on the LAN. Automatic unit start/stop An extremely flexible start/stop system. Use of charge, voltage, load and even more parameters. Specific settings can be set for rest periods and optionally a monthly test run. The heart of the ESS Energy Storage System The CCGX is the energy manager in an ESS. Data loggingIf the system is connected to the Internet, all data is sent to the VRM portal. If no internet connection is available, the CCGX stores data internally for up to 48 hours. Even more data can be stored by inserting a micro SD card or USB flash drive. These files can be uploaded to the VRM portal or converted offline for analysis using the VictronConnect app. Internet connection The CCGX can be connected to the Internet with an Ethernet cable and via Wi-Fi. To connect it via Wi-Fi, a Wi-Fi USB accessory is required.The CCGX does not have an internal cellular modem: there is no slot for a sim card. Use a standard GPRS or 3G router instead.

Easy installation All electrical connections are made to the current shunt using the PCB connector. The shunt is connected to the monitor via a standard RJ12 telephone cable. Included in delivery: RJ 12 cable (10 m) and battery cable with fuse (2 m); No other components are required. Also included are a separate front panel for a square or round display; a safety ring for rear mounting and screws for front mounting Monitoring the midpoint voltage One damaged cell or battery can destroy an entire large, expensive battery bank. When batteries are connected in series, measuring the midpoint voltage can provide a timely warning. Please also refer to the BMV manual, section 5.2 for more information. We recommend our Battery Balancer (BMS012201000) to maximize the life of lead-acid batteries connected in series. Very low current consumption from the battery Current consumption: 0.7 Ah per month (1 mA) at 12 V and 0.6 Ah per month (0.8 mA) at 24 V In particular, lithium-ion batteries have almost no capacity left when they are discharged to the point of shutdown due to low voltage. After shutdown due to low voltage, the reserve capacity of a lithium-ion battery is approximately 1 Ah per 1000 Ah of battery capacity. The battery will be damaged if the remaining reserve capacity is drawn from the battery. For example, a residual current of 10 mA can damage a 200 Ah battery if the system is left in a discharged state for over 8 days. The GX-GSM is a modem & GPS accessory for Victron GX monitoring products. It is a cellular modem that provides mobile internet for the system and connection to the VRM portal. It works on 2G, 3G and 4G networks and includes a built-in GPS receiver.When the optional GPS antenna is installed, the system can be both located and geographically constrained via the VRM portal.Note that many telecom operators are in the process of shutting down their 3G networks.
