Models are available for the range of 800 VA to 5000 VA per module. Unique PowerAssist function The MultiPlus prevents overloading of a limited AC source. First, it automatically reduces battery charging to protect from overload. Next, it boosts the output of a generator or shore power supply with energy from the battery. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) function. In the event of a mains fault or an interruption to the shore power or on-board generator, the multi's inverter is automatically switched on and takes over the supply to the connected loads. The PG safety cable glands ensure flush and gap-free sheathing of the cables, so that the penetration of dirt and water can be ruled out. The roof ducts round off your motorhome mounting system consisting of retaining spoilers, mounting corners and connectors and enable a solid mounting of your solar island system on the vehicle roof and a safe introduction of the cables into the living space.

Battery protection Smart BatteryProtect The Smart BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from the less important loads before it is completely discharged (which would damage it) or before it no longer has enough energy to start the engine. By using Bluetooth to program the Smart BatteryProtect, all required on/off thresholds can be set. Alternatively, one of nine preset on/off thresholds can be set using the programming pin (see manual). If necessary, the Bluetooth function can be turned off. Protects the battery from deep discharge and can be used as a system on/off switch. Setting for lithium-ion batteries In this mode, the BatteryProtect can be controlled by the VE.Bus BMS. Note: The BatteryProtect can also be used as a charge interrupter between a battery charger and a lithium-ion battery. See connection diagram in the manual. Extremely low power consumption This is important in the case of lithium-ion batteries, especially after shutdown due to low voltage level.Please refer to our lithium-ion battery data sheet and the VE.Bus BMS manual for more information. Overvoltage protection To prevent sensitive loads from being damaged by an overvoltage, the load is switched off whenever the DC voltage exceeds the value of 16.3 V or 32.6 V, respectively. Delayed alarm output The alarm output is activated when the battery voltage drops below the preset value for shutdown for more than 12 seconds. Therefore, turning on the engine will not activate the alarm. The alarm output is a short-circuit protected open collector output connected to the negative (minus) rail. Max. Current 50 mA. The alarm output is normally used to activate an audible signal, LED or relay. Delayed load disconnection and delayed reconnection The load is turned off 90 seconds after the battery voltage drops below the preset threshold. If the battery voltage rises again to the threshold for connection within this period (after the motor has been started, for example), the load is not switched off.the load is switched on again 30 seconds after the battery voltage exceeds the preset threshold for reconnection.
