The screen simply bolts to the top of a dashboard, eliminating the need to create perfect cutouts like the ColorControl GX, and connects via just one cable, eliminating the need to run multiple cables to the dashboard. To connect it via Wi-Fi, a Wi-Fi USB accessory is required.The CCGX does not have an internal cellular modem: there is no slot for a sim card. Use a standard GPRS or 3G router instead.

The GX-GSM is a modem & GPS accessory for Victron GX monitoring products. It is a cellular modem that provides mobile internet for the system and connection to the VRM portal. It works on 2G, 3G and 4G networks and includes a built-in GPS receiver.When the optional GPS antenna is installed, the system can be both located and geographically constrained via the VRM portal.Note that many telecom operators are in the process of shutting down their 3G networks.
