High-quality sine wave inverter for a stable 230V supply for small consumers

Victron's Phoenix 12/500 VE.Direct is a high-quality sine wave inverter ideal for powering small 230V consumers on board. The continuous output power is 400 watts, which is sufficient for micro consumers such as laptops, battery chargers, mini PCs and other devices with small power requirements. However, it is also ideal for high-sensitivity radio, receiver as well as medical equipment.

Proven reliability
The complete bridging additionally with a ring transformer topology has proven itself for years. The inverters are short-circuit proof and protected against overheating (whether caused by overload or ambient temperature).

If the load exceeds a preset threshold during this time, the inverter remains switched on. Remote on/off switching A remote on/off switch can be connected with a two-pin connector or between the positive terminal of the battery and the left contact of the two-pin connector. Load switching to other AC sources: The automatic load switch For smaller powers, we recommend the Filax automatic transfer switch. Computers and other sensitive electronic equipment can thus continue to operate practically without interruption, since the switching times are very short (less than 20ms).

MultiPlusInverter / Charger Proven reliability The complete bridging additionally with a ring transformer topology has proven itself for years. PowerControl work with limited generator power, limited shore or mains power The Multi Control remote control panel can be used to set the maximum shore or generator current to be drawn. The MultiPlus then takes into account other connected AC consumers and uses only the current that is "left over" for charging. This prevents the generator or shore power connection from being overloaded. PowerAssist "power boost" of generators and shore power support (800VA/1200VA/1600VA only) Load peaks often only occur for a limited period of time. In such a case, the MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore power or generator power is immediately compensated by energy from the battery. If the load is reduced, i.e. if consumers are switched off, the energy that is then sufficiently available again can be used to charge the batteries. High switch-on power This is required for switching on loads with high inrush currents such as voltage converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools. Search mode When the search mode is set to 'on', the power consumption of the inverter is reduced by approximately 70% during no-load operation. In this mode, when operating in inverter mode, the Multi will turn off at zero load or when only a light load is present and turn back on for a short period every two seconds. If the output current exceeds a set limit, the inverter resumes operation. If this is not the case, the inverter switches off again. Programmable relay In the default setting, the multifunction relay acts as an alarm relay, i.e. it switches off the device in the event of faults (device becomes too hot, ripple voltage at the input too high, battery voltage too low).

MultiPlusInverter / Charger Versatile use The MultiPlus is a high performance pure sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger utilizing adaptive charging technology and a high speed AC transfer switch in a single compact package. Models are available for the range of 800 VA to 5000 VA per module. Unique PowerAssist function The MultiPlus prevents overloading of a limited AC source. First, it automatically reduces battery charging to protect from overload. Next, it boosts the output of a generator or shore power supply with energy from the battery. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) function. In the event of a mains fault or an interruption to the shore power or on-board generator, the multi's inverter is automatically switched on and takes over the supply to the connected loads. The switchover occurs so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic equipment is guaranteed.
